Hello all!
This is Aaron Hawryluk, the administrator and donator of this site. I’m writing to you from my home in Calgary. If you’ve come here, it means you’ve been sent a link or learned about the project in some other way and you’re curious. Good!
This site will eventually replace the current PGTW site located at http://pgtw.bc.ca, provided the Board approves.
The intent of this site is to create a new website for Prince George Theatre Workshop, providing a “one-stop shop” for ticket purchases, casting calls, Society minutes, and historical archives. I’ve been in discussions with Dan LaFrance in Prince George and have decided to offer my development, hosting and IT services to the Society free of charge.
BUT… This is not a single person’s project. You can help! While I will take care of most of the IT administrative work like setting up a proper domain contact system, creating email addresses, etc., YOU can contribute your thoughts, your memories and your ideas here. I’m curently on the lookout for people to help write and upload content to this site. If you have anything to contribute, whether it be writing, scans of memorabilia from the Society’s history, digitized video, etc., please leave me a comment and let me know. Any and all contributions are welcome!

Hi all,
Dan LaFrance has identified an issue with the site layout which I’ll be solving within the next week. The site may experience a few odd changes in that time while I play around with the stylesheets etc. I’ll ask you to bear with us until we can fix this little issue, please and thank you.

 New Gallery!
A new gallery containing programmes from past plays has been added to the site, based on images kindly sent in by Ken Hollands (cheers Ken!). We’re still on the lookout for more programmes, posters and pictures that can be added to the site, so if you have any let us know!
You can check out the gallery here.

 An old newspaper article
Here’s an old newspaper article uploaded by Ken Hollands, which itself references an even older article about the building of the Prince George Playhouse and the founding of the Society. It’s a bit inspirational, ain’t it?
(Click on the thumbnail to see the document. You need a PDF reader, like Adobe Acrobat Reader, to see this file).
To me, this little number makes a statement that’s relevant today… the Society’s going through tough times right now, but it has done so before – and it’s weathered them well.
To anyone else out there who has clippings or other memorabilia, we’d be interested in posting them on the site, so contact me if you have anything to donate. Posters, news articles, programs, photos… all are welcome.

 Bookmarks!
Social bookmarking (digg, de.licio.us, facebook, twitter, etc.) icons have been added to the site to allow you to broadcast posts and pages to friends.
If you use social media, you’re probably familiar with the process. For those of you who aren’t, just click the “Bookmark It” link at the bottom of any post or page and choose the icon for the social media site you’d like to send the link to. It’s that easy!

Hi folks,
Just a shout out to our first two contributors: Scott John and Ken Hollands. Scott has contributed some photos from Summer Stage and “Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead”; Ken has scanned in a whole mess o’ programs from years gone by, retrieved from the moldering dpeths of god-knows-where. They’ll all be posted on the website soon.

I want to send a Special Thanks to the Board Members and General Members, past and present who helped the PGTW Society survive the last couple years. We have big plans for the future and I hope you’ll check it out.
Another Very Special Thanks to Aaron Hawryluk for his hard work in putting all this together.
PGTW Prez. Dan
